Through the pandemic, many changes were taking place in the work market. Companies and businesses had to get their staff to start working remotely if they wanted to meet their deadlines because there were too many restrictions preventing them from coming to an office often. With all offices shut and people working from home, we noticed that they needed a lot of our services that they did not in the past. There were many changes we had to get through, and we were working on getting through those.
Offices shut for the longest time now had a few of their employees coming in, so those companies had to get back to working on keeping these offices clean. When clients started visiting home offices, people would turn to us to clean their homes to stay safe. Some were even asking to have the place sanitized because they wanted to stay safe through the pandemic.
We are unsure about the changes that the future or even the next six months would bring, but we know that it is something that we would be super thrilled about. While there were many challenges we had to tackle during the pandemic, there was a dramatic increase for our services. It’s increased our business, and there were times when we were finding it difficult to get through.
When it comes to communication, we were always working with most of our clients remotely, and they would book meetings and appointments over the phone. However, one of the few changes now was that we had to clean in person. We would usually work with the people who were not at the office, either after hours or before they came in. We could not handle those changes and had to clean in person, but we made sure that the team handled all the precautions possible and kept everyone safe.
Overall, when it comes to our work, we add a mix of getting it done remotely or in person. While we work in person, we handle the inquiries or meetings over the phone, email, or text. Additionally, we explain our processes in greater detail and make sure that the clients we are working with understand and don’t have any challenges with the way we get things done.
There are many challenges when it comes to working remotely. We don’t have human contact like before. In the past, we would meet our clients in person, but now we had to get as much as we could remotely. We have a maximum of three people in the office at one time. We have to make sure that everyone is staying distant and safe. Additionally, we would encourage people to book appointments, so we were sure of the number of people coming in and would be able to reschedule other appointments to the following day.
Additionally, we added sanitizers throughout the office, masks, and sick protocols. We want to make sure that everyone is as safe as they can be and that no one is going to get into any trouble.
Many aspects of our work changed, and we had to make sure that we could hold on to the ones that were not. When it came to the timings that we were putting in, we stayed as consistent as possible. We were working the same hours that we always did because we did not want any of our clients to be looking for us during work hours, and they could not connect because we thought that we should take a break or work fewer hours.
With the kind of work that we were handling, we did not need some large servers to keep confidential information. We would use email and various Microsoft services that worked well for us. Additionally, we used Zoom to connect with clients who could not meet us in person. We would explain the process and send a team over at their convenience to get through the process. We made sure that the teams wore their masks and practiced social distancing, which kept everyone safe.
We like to participate in virtual public events and business expos whenever we get the chance. We also want to use these platforms to create awareness about our work so we can increase our client base.
